The Internet can be a cruel and terrible place but earlier this week when my beloved 2.5 yr old pup, Benito, passed and I shared it on Reddit, the outpour and support showed me a different side 🙏🥹

Can someone explain why by default, @figma.com doesn't include borders in its calculations? Because CSS does, this means that you run into the scenarios like below where sizes are off.
There are workarounds (eg box shadows) but they are more of a hack than just having borders included by default.
