Definitive NY Times video analysis. Obviously, many people filmed the shooting. But it was the woman in the bright pink coat who (apparently) captured the iconic image of Pretti, hat off, falling to the ground, his killer pointing a gun at his back.

Not sure if this is an editing error or just a way of emphasizing how much he does it. It’s like the Monty Python Spam sketch, but with racism.
The depiction of Mr. and Mrs. Obama as apes perpetuates a racist trope promoted by slave traders and segregationists, who used the characterization to dehumanize Black people and justify lynchings and other atrocities. President Trump has a history of making degrading remarks about people of color, women, immigrants and people of color.
