Second: it closed in the 60s because it was too expensive to operate.
It'll cost hundreds of millions to renovate, and tens of millions to run every year.

As someone who lives in the Bay Area, all I can say is Good Luck with this. It'll cost hundreds of millions to renovate, then tens of millions to run each year. There was a reason it was closed in the 60s.
