Woo hoo! An hour-forty from Crestline with my F3T HG. Unusually hot, windy, one-step launch at 1:35, gained 1k' without much effort. Went to Pine and came back at 7k. Flew over the Arrowhead, 8,500 MSL, then out over my house. Back to the hills then forced it down to landing at AJX. Many out to fly.

Flew the PG from Marshall Peak yesterday. 50 minutes with a few strong cores of 1k+ FPM up; mostly 200 or so. Got to 5k, others higher. Watched two deer ambling idly up the road below Regionals. At least 20 pilots out. Good flight.

As a Hang Glider & Paraglider pilot, I'm a big fan of NOAA. They helped me get a much needed flight today, 25 minutes with the PG from the 750 foot launch in February.

Got 43 minutes with the PG today! Single onshore day within a spate of N days. Crestline was zero wind and puffing down so eventually the Sandy Van took us to Marshall. Cycles started coming in there around 13:15. Good inflation and launch with a longish run. House thermal was going straight up.

A small act of defiance by NOAA? When was it last called Washington's Birthday? I wish it still was. It meant more.
