In less than three full days I’ve gone from wondering if the US can survive Trump’s second term to wondering if it can survive the first two weeks of his second term. Things are beyond crazy. I can barely look at the news right now.

I just watched a video clip of Biden, Harris, Obama, and the Clintons attending Trump's inauguration. Their attendance didn't surprise me, but it's inexcusable. It's also emblematic of a failed political party that doesn't know how to fight, that goes along, capitulates, and has lost voter respect.

Today in the US is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the Inauguration of Donald Trump. You need to pick one or none to celebrate. You can’t celebrate both unless you’re highly confused and misinformed.

Since moving from Tempe, Arizona to Roanoke in late 2022 I do miss running and walking around the sprawling ASU main campus, particularly barefoot. This was filmed seven years ago.
