Relieved a ton of stress this past week by playing Iron Banner in #Destiny2. I had great fun with the Phoneutria Fera hand cannon/shotgun. Woof, there's a learning curve, though. VERY short range, but quite nasty when the One-Two Punch perk is combined with a melee-crazed Warlock. 😁

Oh damn, I'm not usually a fan of this style of play, but it could kick ass if combined with the Thirteenth Doctor/Yasmin Khan pairing.

I like that! I mean, it must suck (no pun intended) to repeatedly die - usually PAINFULLY - and be reborn, which must be its own sort of pain. And THEN, after waking up in the '70s & biting Caroline Munro, he must have thought things were finally looking up! But no. 😕

A first in my #Destiny2 experience: I've never noticed a weapon with the Kinetic Tremors trait (my Buzzard sidearm) detonating a LOOT CHEST before! 😶 Glad the glimmer was undamaged.

I used this crazy criminal - The Meep - as my Commander in Friday Night Magic last night, & it was fun! Never tried a Mono Black deck, but I enjoyed sacrificing minions for the sake of ultimate victory. All hail the Meep! #MagictheGathering #DoctorWho

Well, turned 65 today! Feeling pretty damn good. I have my health, a fantastic wife, & a funny teenager about to go to college (🥺). I feel I achieved my creative (and nerd) pinnacle only a couple of years ago, thanks to the Doctor Who Magic sets! Lesson: Never let anyone tell you you're too old!

I still love #Destiny2, I'm okay with the armor changes, not liking the Tiered loot, & *definitely* not liking The Edge of Fate missions overall. Honestly, I wish I had asked for a refund. I'll likely just play the free content until the Renegades expansion.

Just saw #FantasticFour. So good! The four leads are perfect (Quinn as Johnny Storm was my fave), and I'm astonished that they actually managed to pull off Galactus in a film. Brisk pace throughout, with some surprises. Overall: 8/10.

TIL in the #Pokemon world, there are few if any traditional livestock remaining, meaning that some species of Pokemon are routinely cooked and eaten. I cannot unknow this. 😶🍔🥩🍽️

As a longtime fan of Melee builds for my warlock in #Destiny2, I am ridiculously excited by the Melee updates announced today by @bungie.net. Going to give a new paint job to my Winter's Guile and Refusal of the Call.
