$96.7 billion in total tax receipts, comprising $59.4 billion to the federal government and $37.3 billion to state and local governments. $8,889 per undocumented immigrant, or $8.9 billion for every 1 million undocumented residents

You? 2500 * 12 = 30,000 * 10 000 = 300m
Soooo.. that’s 0,3% of $100bn tax receipt? Say there was 1m receiving that sum instead of 10k, and you’re still up $70bn 🙃

I’m not arguing politics. I’m saying that you’re getting a solid return on the investment - sounds like a great deal. So I’m asking what’s your point?
Get rid of immigrants, loose $100bn per year? Only get a specific type of immigrants, loose $90bn per year? Grow smaller?

So, for each block of 10k getting 2500 per month, you spend 0,1% of the income generated (not to mention likely build a sustainable labour pool)
