Born in the 80s, the *best* decade, except for all the Terrible bits.
....that is the most German shepherd wolf I've ever seen.

I mean, being fair here...have you seen some of the transformation animation from the original show? That's less "extremely wrong" than you may think after twenty-five plus years of them actually following the toys. Still IS extremely wrong of course but. Less.

No, no. They think everyone is *dumber* than they are.

I love Fry gremlin Cream on page two

No, I mean there's fully realized animated side stories that aren't the main Gundam series that are about characters based in a given universe. Not 'There's side plots in the main show about them'. For example, MS IGLOO, and Gundam Thunderbolt.

Also, several of them were popular in the west since Wing. SEED was massive, Iron-Blooded Orphans was absolutely gigantic.

All of the others were too.
September 18, 2025 at 3:20 AM
For the main series', yes. There's all sorts of side stories about 20's-aged and even middle aged and older pilots, however.

Live action Gundam has never, ever been good. This is, I believe, at minimum, the fourth time it's been tried, in an officially approved and licensed manner. Who knows how many times it's been done in unofficial ones.

Maybe they've finally accepted that their Robotech project is never going to happen despite them claiming to be working on it for twenty years and just want to get SOME money out of it to prop up their realty business.
September 4, 2025 at 10:52 PM
Hmmm. I wonder what the catch is. They've been hyper-litigious for decades, to the point they were deemed a nuisance and finally lost with prejudice against Hasbro for suing them over just having RED AND WHITE on a NON TRANSFORMING F-14 toy. I'm not inclined to give HG the benefit of any doubts.
September 4, 2025 at 10:51 PM
Really? Not dubbed as Robotech? Harmony Gold must have list another lawsuit they started.

(Look up Harmony Gold vs Hasbro some time, it's a hoot)
September 4, 2025 at 5:26 PM
...oh you asked *where*. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's all on DisneyPlus, now. Except the original Macross because above.
September 1, 2025 at 8:30 AM
Also, because of Harmony Gold, you're probably only going to FIND Do You Remember Love for the original Macross, because they've got it locked down as Robotech. Everybody hates Harmony Gold.
September 1, 2025 at 8:29 AM
...Oh right, and Macross Zero, I keep forgetting about that one. Macross II is its own continuity made by people who only kinda sort had the license - the copyright/ownership status of Macross is a bit of a labyrinth - Anyway, the movies do a good job of condensing and series' down if time is tight.
September 1, 2025 at 8:27 AM
*personally* I think you can just watch the movie version of the original Macross (Do You Remember Love), the movie version of the Macross Plus OAVs, Macross 7 never got a movie version, but it's also a little bit of a 'dead end' offshoot, and the two Macross Frontier movies, then Delta.

30 has Ultraman as DLC, if you could that.
July 24, 2025 at 7:35 AM
That is remarkably similar to how it usually goes, yes. Then next mission everyone turns around and just murders the heck out of some alien invasion leader from a 70's super robot show who claims to be the embodiment of hatred or something.
July 24, 2025 at 7:32 AM
Ooo, Huntress that makes a lot of sense! I was focused on the Adam West batman because of the whole anesthetic of the rest but...
July 15, 2025 at 5:44 AM
The second Catwoman maybe?
July 15, 2025 at 3:56 AM
Like, this seems to be made for people who only watched the original on a CRT when it was new, fell off during, I dunno, season three or four maybe? and then never watched anything since.
