The Pope died after over-exerting himself during the JD Vance audience. It was a selfless act.

Just a reminder that election denier and former Mesa County clerk Tina Peters is in La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo, Colorado. She was a Mike Lindell associate who tried to corrupt an election.

Old-world "shunning" is the penalty for any Canadian who travels to the USA without good reason.

Future news: Due to Trump's 104% tariff on Chinese running shoes, Florida celebrates the return of sneaker manufacturing to the USA. Dozens of unhappy 13-year-old boys working after school churn out substandard footwear at only $520 a pair. ;)

JD Vance would call these Americans "peasants". China mocks the USA in the trade war. Hilarious.

In Loblaws-associated grocery stores like the one in our town, it is easy to choose Canadian and boycott American foods. Canadian products have a maple leaf shelf label. American products have a "T" in a triangle. While we prioritize Canadian, we do buy non-American items.

Unreal! Trump is now threatening 84% (34+50) tariffs on China! Will nobody stop this insanity?

Americans have a lot to learn about Canada's rich history. Mike Myers wearing a Canadian Tire shirt reminds us that Sandy McTire of Canadian Tire fame was once the King of Canada. We even put him on our money! ;)

Tariff-era grocery shopping for Canadians:
1. Product has a maple leaf symbol; it's Canadian and fine to buy.
2. Product has no labels (it's foreign-made) but still need it; Okay to buy.
3. T in a triangle label; Don't buy it. Boycott American-made and Trump's tariffs.

Our small grocery store now has warning signs on American-made goods that cost more because of Trump's tariffs. It's a triangle with a "T" inside. Sure, it's supposed to stand for "tariff" but we know it means "Trump-infected" and we won't buy it.

Disagree. One-third of Americans believe everything Trump says. Trump's real superpower is that he can tell people what they want to hear and lie without shame.
April 5, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Over on Trump's Truth Social site, the faithful are lapping up his tariff moves.
April 5, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Prices were going to drop on "Day one" and it would all be so easy. Now, it's "Hang tough, it won't be easy". Trump lies and the fools still believe him.
April 5, 2025 at 3:26 PM
The depth of Canadian hatred for Trump and his "51st state" bullshit has 76% of us boycotting US-made products and 82% buying more Canadian products - even if it costs more. Most Canadians want to play hardball against Trump even if it means a recession.

Delusional Trump again. One minute, tariffs are "negotiable" and the next minute they are "here to stay".
How can anyone count on anything he says?

Russia gets preferential treatment while the penguins get tariffs.

The penguins need fish.
April 3, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Exactly. Have a heart for the penguins on Heard & McDonald Islands who have no voice at all! ;)
April 3, 2025 at 6:35 PM
The Heard & McDonald Islands are eager to negotiate with Trump in exchange for fish.
April 3, 2025 at 6:07 PM
The penguins are now contributing to Trump's "golden age".

It's a good thing Trump no longer pays attention to the markets.
