Not sure if this will help but I’ve been using ceramic pellets in my tumbler and it really cuts down on the noise. I keep it running in a small shed that is actually pretty close to our neighbors’ house. He can’t hear it at all! It seems to keep the softer stones from breaking as well.

The game app I once used to play Scrabble on started advertising for ICE too. When I caught them running an ad for “truth” social (with one of his stupid posts no less), I got so pissed I dumped them on the spot. Got rid of the app without even finishing a game I was in.

Not morels. They are shaggymanes or shaggy inkcaps. The are delicious if you get them fresh. Before they start to deliquesce which they do quickly!

Out of curiosity. What are you using to get that fine powder from your dried mushrooms? We have been using a regular blender but it’s not working as well as whatever you’re doing there.

A Texas rancher told me a few years ago that the rattlers around his place stopped rattling. He felt that it was because the noise was like a dinner bell for feral hogs which were kind of immune to the venom. Perhaps that’s not what was going on! I thought it was an interesting theory though.

It’s likely a pindo palm. The fruits are sweet and taste sort of so-so imo but supposedly people make a great jelly with them. I have found them used as landscaping trees in Texas and Florida.
