It’s stunning to me that they can hide behind privacy at the same time they’re trying to legislate everyone else’s healthcare decisions and access.

I *keep* coming back to the podcast with General Martin. What if he were leading National Defense University today? Would he just be allowed to proceed if no one ever voiced their concerns? Or even if they had?

How do individual states like California and Texas compare to American companies’ investment in and hiring offshore workers? That’s where a lot of growth seems to be, to me.

Whenever I see comments like this, I immediately think: okay, it might. What will it cost? Will everyone with cancer have their cancer cured? Or will it be out of reach for most people?

The thing I keep thinking about is the heads in jars from Futurama. Like, on the other end of the evil spectrum, there’s an argument that we just won’t last as a society without Richard Nixon’s brain.
