That actually makes me homesick
My mom bought me the LOTR trilogy when I was around 12. It was a boxed set with very thin pages, I don’t know how many times I read it but I wore out that set by the time I went to university. I read The Hobbit later, and although it was a good story it felt kind of babyish to me.
