I’m losing my mind because he is responsible for both air traffic control and the Blackhawk! We should be asking him how this could happen and how HE is preventing another similar tragedy.

Baby boy is finishing up his flea and worm treatment soon (and quarantine will soon be over). He’s been sooo good.
Today I moved him into the garage (in his carrier) while I deep cleaned the entire bathroom to ensure he doesn’t get reinfected. Hopefully soon he’ll be ready to be out.

Baby boy is finishing up his flea and worm treatment soon (and quarantine will soon be over). He’s been sooo good.

He’s currently quarantined in a bathroom away from all of the other pets as he heals. Once he’s better we will begin transitioning him to an indoor cat bc he’s old and I have a senior dog so we can’t (emotionally) afford disease coming into the home.

I offer to take him in. His owner agrees. I take him to the vet - infected abscess, fleas, worms. Poor guy ): luckily negative for FIV/FeLV - I can keep him :) (we also get a rabies booster)

We continue pretty much as it was. I bring him in excessive cold or hot water and he demands breakfast daily. Then about 2 weeks ago, I noticed he start limping. I tell his family. They say they’ll look out for it.

I take him to the vet to get him checked out. This is when I learned he lives in the house behind mine. Talking to his family - he doesn’t like to go home since they had a baby. I was crushed he’s not adoptable honestly.

For a while, things are fine. I feed him, leave out water and he hangs out and doesn’t bother Hershey and vice versa. By Dec of 2022, he’s basically in my backyard 24 hours per day. ATP, I’m certain he’s a stray.

He wouldn’t let me too close. But eventually (6 months) he began to trust me and let me pet him. Shortly after that, he was always around. Getting closer to the house and coming day at least once a day.

I first found him in my backyard in the fall of 2021 - shortly after I moved into my NW Austin house. I thought he was a stray so I started leaving food out for him.
