The fact they turn this shit on automatically is SO FRUSTRATING.

I'm sorry, those are MY awkward email responses. You CANNOT LEGALLY READ THEM.

I would read that book so much 😂🙌

Sometimes, I like a book where everything is described in detail and two people talk to each other a lot!

I'm gonna keep telling myself it's a good book that I would enjoy reading until that becomes true 😤

I mean, I hope so?

Love to see a hoard of round lads 🙌

I hate this 😂

I promise, I'm writing it exactly how I want it to sound ❤️

I can see that! In a lot of Victorian writing it really doesn't have that emotional attachment. It's literally just a transition piece, that I personally love.

I can definitely see how it might be used in a contemporary text.

No one is stopping me, and if I were writing something set in a different era I totally would!

But I don't want the reader to be jettisoned from the text because of a random anachronistic phrase.

Vore fics are out there! Go! Be free!

This is the smile of someone about to unhinge their jaw and swallow you whole--deeply unsettling.
November 8, 2025 at 5:05 PM
I feel like I might be able to sneak a "retires" into my prose without it seeming anachronistic!
November 7, 2025 at 11:00 PM
it definitely draws a certain kind of attention!

Ooh, that's a really good point. "Quit" as we use it can be a bit more aggressive than they might have.

So "quitting a room" can be a way to end an argument, instead of just a means to get from one location to the next.

THIS COULD WORK 😂

for a certain kind of character!
November 7, 2025 at 7:43 PM
It doesn't sit well next to the rest of my prose, unfortunately!

we don't really vacate premises in 21st century America, either. Not unless we're following the orders of an automated message.

we don't quit rooms in 21st century America. We simply walk out of them ;__;
