Question for iPhone users who have used AirPods: Have you found something better than AirPods? Or if you’ve switched to something else, have you regretted it? Love mine, but they’re starting to need replacement so looking around. (PC user, so phone is my only Apple hook)

Sometimes you want to be productive one way, but then you end up being differently productive by spending your evening freeing up 4% of your Google storage and calling it good.

Wrapping up a week of vacation. Made a conscious effort to be less online this week and it was nice. Mowed the lawn for the first time this season. Listened to and read some books. And tomorrow I shall jump back in and tackle the sprint that is May.

What are the best tips for renting cars for personal travel these days? Are we going right through the provider, using Priceline, other 3rd parties I'm not thinking of? It's been a minute, and price ranges seem a bit more spread out than I anticipated. So what's the catch?

Just let the dog out one last time before bed, and… I’m pretty sure a possum fell out of a tree? Definitely saw something fall in the dark and then heard confused scurrying, sooo we went back inside and hopefully doggo doesn’t still need to pee. 👀

I have never had Benson Boone’s agility, and I never will.

One of Milwaukee’s major streets is being redone so the traffic pattern shifted. This AM I watched someone drive far longer than they should’ve in the now-wrong direction straight toward an incoming vehicle. They swerved at the last moment, but the confusing part was I was the only car that honked.

My kid did the thing tonight where she looked into a corner of my dark empty bedroom and said, “Huh, there’s a person in there,” and proceeded to describe their attire, before shrugging and walking back to her room. So if I don’t sleep for the next week, that’ll be why.

Pretty sure my 6yo could also talk for 25 hours straight

April Fool’s jokes on social made more sense when platforms were more reliably chronological. Now I’m just seeing odd posts on April 2nd that did not come up yesterday, and I bet I’ll see more for the first time throughout the week.

Cory Booker has spent 23 hours filibustering and is still going. Wisconsinites, can you spare 5-10 minutes to cast your vote today?

REMINDER: Wisconsin has same-day voter registration.

So, if you haven’t registered or recently moved or anything like that, you can register at your polling place (with ID and proof of residence) TODAY.

Every state should do this. It’s great that Wisconsin does this. Go vote.

I love a good Brewers home opener to kick off baseball season. I now have zero regrets that I decided not to buy tickets this year. 😩

Every time I check the Brewers score, it gets worse and worse. But hey, that’s why there are so many games in a season, right? Right?

Omg it’s so nice outside but snow is in the forecast for Monday and I just want to keep these 70° for forever

Getting all four seasons in Milwaukee today. ⛈️

I have largely abandoned that other app aside from work needs, but I do occasionally open it for the sports moments that haven’t quite seemed to carry over here, like when my alma mater chokes in the first round. 🫠

Sometimes you end the day with a billion tabs open, and the universe says, “You know what? We’re gonna run an overnight update and close all those for you.”

Bought a 42 oz bag of Cadbury mini eggs at Costco today and I have zero idea if it’ll survive to next weekend.

Made the mistake of going to Dominos on Pi(e) Day. They are an hour behind schedule, but because this is Wisconsin, people are acting friendly but increasingly anxious as they wait. It is a social experiment to behold.

Just bought an electric panel so today is not going to be that normal day I asked for.

I would love just one boring normal day this year.

Regretting suggesting Frankenstein for my book club. Didn’t enjoy it in high school, not enjoying it now.
