Today's hiking adventure. It was hot and felt like summer. An iced chai latte for the human and pup cup for her was most needed after.

I may live in the city but everyday I take naidya and I on a hike to parks, forests and preserves. How lucky are we to live near so many and record and discover birds and their calls.

Today was goregous. Spontateous hike with Naidya, listened for birds on the Merlin Bird ID as well not pictured, a homemade brunch and many episodes of Virgin River (on s5 now!)

Last year around this time, I did a solo trip to Phoneix, the Grand Canyon and Sedona along with a Native American ruins tour. It was very transformative and healing. Hiking, good food, tarot readings and driving to see the stars listening to the outlaw country channel.

April 7 nature highlight: Had a work potluck at a local park and got to see the river height and nearby flooding. Also the beauty of faith and nature at the office building that I gawked at while on a stressful phone call. Lastly, I can't go a day without taking my girl's photo among wildflowers.
