Spent my birthday cycling around Victoria, BC during the International Seaweed Symposium (they were nice enough to pause the symposium for the day). I received a package from our friends in Ukraine this week containing this hand embroidered sweatshirt purchased from a local group raising money for the war effort. I look forward to wearing it proudly. When I opened it, I found this sweet surprise and I teared up a little bit. #SlavaUkraine 🥹 🇺🇦💙💛🌻
