Is it me or have many Black audiences not taken to Bluesky strongly? I feel like those audiences are still much more engaged on X. I have a theory that the #Xodus is influencer-led and the larger influencers within the community haven't yet embraced it and pushed the agenda to their followers on X.

Watched #Smile2 today. I thought it was really good. Superior to the original in many ways. A truly unsettling, creepy #horror movie. Enjoyed it more than I expected to.

I've been in Bluesky for a few days now and I'm just thinking about learnings:
I've learnt that there is still an appetite for genuine social interaction and communication on social media. It's been great to be involved. Time will tell how long it lasts. Let's just enjoy it.

The two things that really stick out for me with #Bluesky is 1) everyone is interacting on here like normal people would when they meet someone they don't know at first: friendly. 2) Everyone has really good grammar and spelling. Which says to me:

I’m glad that Bluesky is taking off. I’ve resisted migrating from Twitter for a while because nothing else has felt fun. But the vibes here—now, at least—are genuinely good. I’m rooting for it to get even better.

I feel like the level of discourse and social engagement is high on Bluesky. It's just sad that that's going to slowly erode as engagement farmers and grifters come across looking for a quick buck from any and every platform. I hope not for a while, though.
