At Elevation Church Mathews I learned who God really is. That his love is for everyone, even me. On my worst days. On my best days. And living is best done in community. My faith grew as I started Elevation in 2009 before it grew BIG. I served on prayer, data, welcoming, and production teams.

Who belongs at the table? My faith requires that everyone who can walk and breath belongs at God's table. It is not my job to keep them out. It is my job to love and act and govern myself in the great example of Jesus before me. He befriended and helped those least liked. So we could live.

Why am I running? The most often asked question. Because I care about my students, their families, and our communities. We need affordable healthcare, housing, and transportation. We need fully funded public schools. Business as usual is not getting it done. I registered to get the job done.

In case you missed this....the majority group is Unaffiliated in NC. I entered the NC House District 105 race to give you a choice to stop the increase in property taxes/taxes while also giving you an anti-maga choice in the Republican primary March 3! Please come out to vote! Now is the time!
