Being from Alabama, I can tell you that these are not the counties to flip this seat… unless there’s something I don’t know about. Neither of these are in progressive areas.

And none of the MaGaZ will care… they’ll say it’s just some locker room talk.

Okay. So again. I never made any expert claims. Also, I am from Alabama, how astute of you. Being from a particular state doesn’t certify someone as intelligent or incompetent.

That’s true. There’s also incineration for fuel, which does get used with some automotive companies for materials that have no other end of life use.

We are all very impressed by your abilities to Google things like The Dunning-Kruger Effect and then use them in a sentence. And again I was not making any claims about the overall success or validity of the plastics recycling industry. Just sharing my thoughts on the weird statement made by WSJ.

Stay in your lane. No one mentioned the % of global of plastics being recycling or not recycled. That’s an entire other conversation. The discussion is, of the plastic content we do recover, mostly post-industrial, the automotive industry is strong end user of that recycled content.

You are correct. Plus automotive plastics are multi-polymer. So once they’re injection molded that’s likely their last use.
