Goodness. What an ill-informed position from Nick Clegg. All artists, no matter their medium, should stand together with PRS in opposing the idea that their special creativity is free.
Nick Clegg recently told The Times that asking artists for permission to use their work would ‘kill’ the AI industry.

Baroness Kidron works tirelessly on our behalf. If Gov. draft laws to protect I.P. the UK would not be left behind but rather become a safe haven for creative talent. Those of us who are, or work with, Actors and Writers, must speak out. This is no time for lethargy.
