Cover art was inspired by a photoshoot I did in a field of dandelions in June of 2020 😍 I’m fond of tapping into a creativity rooted in childlikeness where our imaginations, full of playfulness & curiosiy, create things which heal the heart and each other 💫 Much Love to all, esp. the readers 🤓✨❤️‍🩹
Merry, happy Christmas Eve ✨ (from Zoo Zoo Petals & me) 🌸 in his heart, he’s all flowers and snugs but sometimes he forgets and lets it rip 😉

A happy accident for a recovering perfectionist!! When the boys were little, I had to make the design on the wrapping paper line up every single time 😱 Now I just enjoy it when it happens ♥️

I’ll be reading this EVERY morning as a personal Advent devo—if you will. From The Inner Voice of Love by Henri Nouwen, who’s also the author another fave: The Wounded Healer. I want to be rooted in this ancient voice of Love from all kinds of perspectives. P.S. the notes in the margins are mine 😉🤟🏼✨

Speaking of pennies, my cat (whose name also happens to be Penny), heard my voice as I walked thru the door last night after a 5 day trip & ran downstairs to greet me. She wanted to sit on my lap (see pic). Y’all, she’s the best: Smart. Sweet. Fiercely independent. I treasure all of who she is! 💯😻

Nobody wants out pity b/c pity is rooted in elitism—which dwells on the vertical axis where *better than* cognitions are cultivated creating all kinds of conflict & oppression in the world. Y’all, if we share a humanity, & we do, it means we belong to each other—this is where true mercy flows, too ♥️

I found some ancient treasure and it was so big I had to share (well, I was moved to share) … 💫👑✨

End of year reminder: Create things that heal the heart and each other! 💞 (p.s. my favorite *doodle* from this year…full of swells and waves of Love flowing from the gigantic heart of the blue whale…research the blue whale…they’re so cool) ✍🏼✨🎨💫🌈✨🌎💫❤️‍🩹😘

One of the main reasons I use social media is to mine laughter ⛏️🤣⚒️. Here’s today’s via *Threads.*

Or also known as false positive extroverts and even more accurately “the friendliest loner” in the room. I honestly didn't mind eating lunch by myself in school while day-dreaming & sketching or writing. It's that weird tension of wanting to belong, yet also feeling most alive when creating alone. 🐠

Chances are, if you were the visual artist in your family, you were in charge of putting the lights on the tree ensuring proper spacing of color 🙋🏼‍♀️!! And if you hadn't discovered that part of you yet, something in you wanted the job. It's still my favorite part! Now onto the ornaments 🎄🌈✨💫

I often create videos after I get excited about insights I’m experiencing, but have no one to share them with 🤷🏼‍♀️ (um, of course I then put some on the internet —b/c why not)! Please enjoy this AND my super duper sweaty, preshower authenticity or as it is called, the We Don't Care Anymore Club! 😜🙈✨

Ok, I have one more. Did someone say entropy 🤷🏼‍♀️ [please note the image is not a James Webb Telescope image BUT a conceptualized piece of art from the depths of an artist] 🪐 www.science.org/content/arti...
Have scientists finally made sense of Hawking’s famous formula for disorder in a black hole?
Theorists claim to derive the landmark equation from the bare definition of entropy, but not everyone is convinced

Discovered in 2020, this star moves so fast it’s literally bending the space time continuum. 🙈💫⏳ futurism.com/the-byte/sta...
This star is moving so fast it visibly warps spacetime
S62 is moving at eight percent the speed of light — just fast enough to see special relativity come into play.

Tell me the truth. Is everything & everyone innately *connected*? Do we all belong? OR are some people always going to belong more deeply & widely, be considered better, more popular, & exalted higher—culturally, spiritually, & existentially. Will the vertical power differential ever be nullified?

I grew up navigating the brunt nature of America’s Snow Belt and the intense manifestations of lake effect snow. Honestly I do miss those big Northern Midwest snowstorms, which created drifts as high as the garage roof gutters!! We had a lot of fun in the snow back then! ❄️
A winter storm over the Northern and Central Plains brought heavy snow and gusty winds to the Midwest and Great Lakes region over the weekend, disrupting the travel plans of people heading home after Thanksgiving. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/29/w...

How are your pre-Thanksgiving shenanigans going? 💪🏼😜🫶🏼🙃♥️✨

Sometimes dad jokes really make a splash, you know ✍️🔤💦🙈 (after receiving hard news about my cat’s health this afternoon, I feel like I genuinely ended the day on a witty/funny note—perhaps we can spell out other things, too, like hope, healing, freedom, & life long dreams coming true)

Someone in the article states that the Protestant & Catholic Churches have a “very feminine atmosphere,” but for many, please include this qualifier: IF YOU ARE OBEDIENT.* Nothing provokes cutting, harsh intensity like disobeying a word from an abusive, spiritual father. This defies denomination.
“It’s so much harder than I thought it was going to be, but it speaks to me in a way that nothing else ever did.” I visited a growing Orthodox Christian parish in North Carolina to understand why so many young men are converting. Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2025/11/19/u...

As soon as you make God’s love conditional, you have created an environment for Spiritual Codependency to burgeon. As spiritual leaders, the reason we don’t want to do that is this: We need to believe in & receive a divine Love that gives us grace to love both the SELF & OTHER unconditionally, too.♥️

Angel has lost weight recently & while I’m generally not a worrier (ironically or not so ironically) it feels heavy to me. I do believe in healing touch, so in my mind she can feel the healing warmth of love in my hands. But ultimately I get to call the vet tomorrow. If so moved, pls say a prayer ♥️

I have been in love with Philip’s music for a long time and this particular song never fails to move me. The tears may be unwanted, but he lets them move anyway. I feel that. I get that. On a molecular level. 🤍https://youtu.be/8wunLyju4XA?si=F9aaCWcupc-6dWg_

Some playful, imaginative wildflowers inspired by ✌🏼 very real bouquets. I dedicate this painting to the observer’s childlike heart—the one stuffed into that adult costume! Remember this a fave meditation: “Out beyond ideas of right doing & wrong doing, there is a field, I’ll meet you there” —Rumi💫
