This administration has put a target on language access. I'm not only terrified for myself and my colleagues losing our livelihoods, but also for the disastrous consequences this would have on people with limited English proficiency. I've witnessed these consequences firsthand in healthcare.

The sweetest thing about today's demonstration? All the people coming up and asking me for PERMISSION to take a pic of my sign. The answer is yes, but I *beyond* appreciate asking for consent. Good vibes everywhere.

Finally making sense of the actions for me to take. Continuing the work I already do to support immigrant communities, empowering others to do the same, supporting the helpers, carving out spaces for queerness, expanding my support of people with disabilities, calling reps, educating myself.

Been doing this new thing on Mondays where I drink coffee & knock out a bunch of tasks for the week. Today I got THIRTY TWO tasks done. Figured out a long time ago that I can safely drink just 2 coffees a week without significantly increasing my risk of getting a migraine... gotta make it count!
