Sad to see our old hickory tree felled, it was gonna go on its own if we didn’t remove it. Planted a couple fruit trees in its place. #countrylife

Mix of red and white oak plus hickory here, makes a huge difference! Younger woodland than those giants, but I love the view from my deck.

Need to cut back the rain lilies again, as they’ve seeded out. My iris are in full bloom and don’t like those lazy stalks laying over them.
