It's outrageous that Spotify is running ICE ads. I'm moving to another streaming platform that doesn't profit from exploiting artists while recruiting for ICE. #CancelSpotify app.sosha.ai/s/0tYdsS8l

"You must be able and prepared to give until you cannot give any more. We must use our time and our space on this little planet that we call Earth to make a lasting contribution, to leave it a little better than we found it, and now that need is greater than ever before.” Congressman John Lewis

The administration thinks it will replace the immigrant workforce with Medicaid recipients. Sorry, that won't fly. Of the 34 million "able bodied" on Medicaid, 92% already work or meet the new Medicaid work requirements through care giving, school, or other means. Oops - think again!
Brooke Rollins on farm laborers: "There will be no amnesty. The mass deportations continue, but in a strategic way. And we move the workforce toward automation and 100% American participation, which with 34 million able-bodied on Medicaid we should be able to do fairly quickly."

In the Republican reconciliation bill, ICE gets $45 billion - a 365% increase. It's more money than the combined budget for all 50 state prison systems. It's more than the administration's cuts to NIH, CDC, and cancer research combined. The priority is clear - they're building a police state.

If you know someone who lives in Alaska (Senator Murkowski), Wisconsin (Senator Johnson), or Maine (Senator Collins), please ask them to tell their Senator to vote NO on the reconciliation bill (One big, beautiful bill Act) Capitol switchboard (202-224-3121).

The $1.1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid in the Big, Beautiful Bill go into effect after the 2026 mid-term elections. Republicans hope we won't notice before voting.
