I never got too far into vine & I’m sure it felt like a massive loss to people who did but def hard to compare the value of 6sec vids to the wealth of information able to be shared on TikTok. No hyperbole- this is a direct attack on US citizens. The class war is VERY real & our weapon was our voice

Also worth noting- Shou has already bent the knee to Trump and MAGA. At first I hoped his video was just appealing to trumps ego until I saw his repost of charlie kirk and then I knew he was too far gone. I’ll be mourning the loss of tiktok as we knew it.

Yeah I really think Zuck bought in and they’re going dark until “trump can save it” as a ploy for good will. There’s no way it remains what it was. And in that case- it’s as good as gone. I hate evil billionaires. Like- build a library or some shit you losers

Before it went dark it was already giving the option to share to Facebook which it never had before. And Facebook popped up with a brand new verified account. Not happy about it- but they’re def in cahoots. And Shou reposting charlie kirk’s video was the icing on the cake that it was all shit

Ah yes, Congress, who has any understanding how the internet works. How is the dumbing down of children a TikTok problem vs a social media problem? I, personally, have been able to fix multiple of my health issues, DIY stuff in my home and learn a whole hell of a lot on tiktok.

I love that all the people against TikTok are clearly people who don’t use TikTok. Maybe they popped in occasionally- but not enough to figure out that our algorithms were based on thinks we liked. Nothing about my feed made me depressed. In fact- it helped so many of my health issues

Some of my friends believe me when I say that it’s obvious the votes were manipulated- but unfortunately I think all of us feel like the dems have been pretty spineless in fighting back historically- so while it’s “I know he cheated” it’s also “but nothing will happen”. I’ll do all the hoping though

All of my friends think I’m insane for even mentioning the idea that I’m hoping “something” happens where he doesn’t become president. I haven’t even stated that I believe “something” will happen. But I will remain hopeful til the very last second. I feel it in my gut so hard.
