I don't normally buy film soundtracks or scores but I'm a big fan of Dune. The books, universe, all of it. I bought this intending to frame it as decor in my office so this is admittedly my first time spinning.

Oof, this album cover gives me the ick. But moving past that, it's great. I was lucky enough to see them on this tour and their live set is loud, heavy, and electrifying. I also enjoy this album's more subdued moments. "Driver's Story" is a favorite.

I normally spin records while I work and it's gonna be a busy one so no descriptions today, just music! This is a good one to start the day with though- I don't often buy 12" singles but this is one of those oddball songs I just love.

Dehd is a three-piece band from Chicago and this is their second studio album, full of surfy garage pop hooks and sunny melodies. I really like the unpolished energy and the way the recordings sound. These songs are undeniably catchy, this is a great summer album!

This is a 1975 repress of the landmark avant-garde jazz rock fusion album. This is one of those albums I can put on at any time and let my mind get absorbed in the journey of it. Kinda my go-to album on the rare occasion I indulge in psychedelics, too. #nowspinning
