I agree they are the best dogs, and many are quite intelligent. My sweet Molly Vera is really easy to train as she learns quickly.

Aww! The snood has totally changed our lives though her ears do get away from me as they just tangle and mat themselves! She has chronic pancreatitis and I make all her food so she eats in her crate and it is gobbled up so quickly she doesn’t have time to get the snood off first!

Like any other skill, you have to practice. I learned to crochet two years. I do think it is more beginner friendly than knitting as there is only one live stitch. I recently finished this capelet in an online course offered by Sue at The Mercerie (UK).
