Same! I’ve been harassing my family with flower pics constantly (but it makes me so happy, esp because I’m a novice and seeing bulbs from the year before feel like magic). I love cut flowers in my house (and flowers outside). These are phone garbage pics, intended for my fam when I get excited. 😬😆

I hadn’t seen this one. The part about getting in trouble at work for being “mean” and also how women are expected to toe the misogynistic line everywhere made me think of one of my favorite passages from Tina Fey’s autobiography (and why I love Amy Poehler).

They are literally already illegally picking and choosing what they will fund and the government is already essentially shut down. Disgusting that you’re unwilling to try to save our democracy. History will remember what a feckless, gutless, cowardly small man you are. We will remember.

We know exactly what shenanigans you’re going to try to pull, but your procedural games won’t work. We are ALL paying attention, and a yes vote for cloture is a vote for that dirty bill, and fascism. History will remember you (& any other yes votes) as feckless Vichy traitors.

I called and sent a message to Schiff at the DC number. Also someone posted these numbers for his secret/hidden CA numbers. I called them all and while they go to voicemail - at least there are alternative numbers to call! And voicemails weren’t full (unlike his DC office usually is).

They don’t care. 😩 And there ARE students who live in cars, it’s heartbreaking. Imagine telling half your student body (who would like housing) to kick rocks! And they keep upping enrollment (w/o housing for 18/19 year olds, who have never lived on their own). It’s unconscionable and greedy.

If you don’t see that $17.5m less than the previous year while the LAPD increased their budget $126M (with an almost $2B budget), is a big problem then idk what to tell you. In Dec. the chief was literally begging for more, as they don’t have enough staff to keep all their engines running.
