After this article went to print, new Global Affairs Canada arms export data corroborated our findings, visualized below. Both export categories relate to UAV surveillance tech transfers, as determined by Ploughshares in 2020. The methodology is too dense for one post but is attached below 11/

New data from Statistics Canada reveals that Canada has resumed exporting UAV surveillance and targeting tech to Türkiye after lifting this embargo in Jan 2024 following pressure from the Turkish government. The value of these transfers from June 2024 to March 2025 could be as high as $123M CAD 2/

The Sept 26, 2024 contract concerns the supply of M31A2 Triple Base propellant. This propellant is used in charges that are loaded into the breech of artillery systems prior to firing. GD-OTS Valleyfield is the sole-source provider of these propellants to the US Army 5/

AFCCL additions often precede major arms deals with those countries
