Slowly rebuilding this from the ruin of Twitter.
My homeowners insurance premiums going up is the real horror monster. God I’m old.

More cultivation than LitRPG, but Cradle by Will Wight is one of my favorites. One of my comfort listens these days.

First book is Unsouled. Highly recommend.

Herman Miller is the manufacturer, Mirra is the model. They’re pricy! But you can find cheap used from office liquidators.

If you buy direct, 12 year warranty, but I never needed to use it.

My intel is 18+ years old though so likely outdated! May be able to get partial insurance coverage?

Anyway, my point isn’t pitching a chair, it’s to say it absolutely can get better. Congrats on finally getting an actionable diagnosis and better doctor!

Very sincerely believe that chair is the best money I’ve ever spent. Still using it 18+ years later, with zero noticeable wear.

Whatever it is, do the PT - and look into good chairs. After injury I got a good chair (HM Mirra) and PT. Went from 4 hours seated being my max pain, to almost unnoticeable.

Recent doc asked if I knew my back had been broken, because it was so much better I forgot it on the pre-imaging forms.

Great time for a new read during a night out, while the drama unfolds!

Spreading sincere positivity is great! 👍 Let no one impede your advance.

Hopefully she’s able to find some (good) help soon! And good to hear it’s not one of those “now you’re doing 2 jobs forever” scenarios.

Another more traditional one is Magic Research. (mcolotto.github.io/magic-resear...)

Good meta progression and a storyline with lots of NG+ emphasis. MR2 is a substantial upgrade IMO but it’d be hard to go backwards if you start at MR2.

Additional thought; Orb of Creation notably doesn’t have any hard-line “wait X hours” stuff that I can remember, so it’s great for really digging deep.
