Dane happily retired in the UK, keen hiker, covered large parts of South East England on foot, now a Thames Path Twicer having done the walk twice, planning for 2026, worked in automation, now plays with Python/MySQL coding
Walked past it when doing the Ridgeway in 2019 as my wife was waiting in nearby car park, did not want to miss my lift home 😔

Andrew, John's promised me it won't be the Thames, honestly 😂

Not for me, I've kept an older version (April 2025) of PyCharm and switched off AI plus enabled power saver mode as my 2 year old PC was struggling to handle the cr#p "overload", I like to write my own code, otherwise I would never learn or understand a thing. Saving money too not renewing PyCharm.

Which is on my planning chart 📈 too

Wonderful, would like to be there, maybe another day 😁, certainly inspired me for 2026, posted by a Thames Twicer 🤪

I did Andrew, dropped in @ the Sir John Franklin in Greenhithe for a soft drink with lots of ice, beer coming later 😁

Just wondering, can't even remember what it is in Danish😕

Is that with 2 d's?

Thanks John, I wonder what 6 times gives you in terms of titles? 😁

Andrew, I'm now officially a twicer as you put it 😊 should be in the next update of the Oxford Dictionary, going to lie low for a few months and contemplate what's next for the seasoned hiker, it won't be the Thames 👎 which has won my affection but, twice is enough 🤠

I'll hopefully be a twicer later today, I'll certainly boast about it 😜

Got rid of my turntable decades ago 😏

Just need the same for chats, thank you 😀👍

Sounds like Petworth through the back door from the high street in town 😁
September 3, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Now there's an idea, did the same route in opposite direction in 2022, my walking friend Steve was seriously bored, but got to do it to claim another win on the Thames 😂
September 3, 2025 at 6:53 AM
Thanks Andrew, my "reward" will be the 5 mile detour round the rivers Darenth and the Cray, only to pass a 30 meter gap at the local barrier, how rewarding 😁

No Andrew, I did the Grain leg back in July with @johnmtippetts.bsky.social, following in the foot steps if our resident Thames legend, I'm doing Erith to Gravesend which will complete it for me 2nd time round, looking @ Icknield And Peddars Way for 2026, 🥾🥾
