Two years ago, in the early morning hours of April 12th, I collapsed from a saddle PE. Coded twice, 14 day coma, had to relearn to walk. This week I was able to walk again without orthotics. Despite it all, I’m grateful for this experience. It’s changed me profoundly. Life is beautiful.

We have sprouts! Broccoli and cabbage coming along nicely.

If you struggle with seasonal depression, I highly suggest sowing some seeds indoors. I’ve been huffing soil for 20 minutes and it’s spurred me on for another day. Hopefully I’ll have some cabbage, broccoli, onions, and basil sprouting in a few weeks for my “damn the man” garden.

The world is on fire, but it’s my boy’s 14th birthday. I’m proud of the man he’s becoming.
