For cosplays I like a few safety pins & bobby pins, mini scissors, tweezers, ice packs, change of shoes, pliers, tape, clear nail polish, bike shorts for under skirts, lash glue, lip gloss or face powder for touchups, travel steamer.

Water bottle if allowed, chewing gum, headache meds, tissues, a snack if allowed, etymotic ear plugs, cardigan, themed shirts or jewelry, phone charger, business cards if appropriate, comfy shoes, hand fan, lip balm, eye drops.

A bit comforting when in full melt-down about one's missing pocket handkerchief, or some other such inconvenience, and feeling like there's no point to any of it. :)

Certainly some local salt, and a fair bit of traded salt. But salt from the sea would be a rare thing indeed. In my imaginings at least. :)
