What if...fish??

Really like how this looks. It's the same underlying stuff, but each fish has a random speed variance, and a rotating offset from the mouse that they're chasing. Surprisingly does a lot to sell them looking organic.

Still working on this procedural animation thing.
✅Draw it as custom polygons on the fly
✅Give it a maximum angle so it doesn't crinkle weird and has nice curves
❌Still pretty jerky when it's close to the mouse

More to do but I've learned a TON about Godot doing this.

Still getting to know Godot. Little procedural animation rough draft, already looks pretty good with just our default robot svg.

Hopefully Bluesky video upload will cooperate with me here? Always an adventure figuring that out.

Shaking off the game dev rust and familiarizing myself with Godot using this great tutorial: youtu.be/LOhfqjmasi0?...

Really enjoying how Godot ticks, the composition focus makes it feel a lil different and a lil funky.
