Away for an Age of Sigmar tournament but decided to unwind before heading to bed by finishing up some Dwarf Warriors for #Warmaster. Love seeing the massed ranks of these little dudes!

Some details on the plant life and black rims, and just like that they’re done! Incredibly pleased with how these have turned out.

Basing project phase 11- after a slight pause for some paints to be delivered, normal service resumes with some UV resin streams on a couple of bases for some variety and interest.

Basing project phase 11- after a slight pause for some paints to be delivered, normal service resumes with some UV resin streams on a couple of bases for some variety and interest.
Basing phases 8 and 9 complete. The Process was Trusted and after a black prime with a white zenithal, followed by some rough airbrushing in of brown and dark green inks with some grey patches, I begin to be hopeful that maybe I’ve not ruined them all!

Basing phase 6 tonight- vegetation! Tufts, tufts and more tufts. Plus judicious application of trimmed aquarium plants for a bit of variety.

Loving seeing these come together, although we are rapidly moving towards a fairly big “trust the process” moment which is kinda terrifying…

New project on the painting… well, on the basing table is currently more accurate. Trying something new (for me) here- phases 1 and 2 are cork for some elevation followed by mud texture to smooth the gradients and tie it all together

And with the rims freshly painted black, I’m calling this Incarnate and accompanying Tendrils finished. All ready to come out and play at Capital Punishment next weekend!

My wife did the Moonwalk (overnight walking marathon) at the weekend; I took the kids to meet her at the finish line with motivational signs they had made on A3 card. This was my son’s rather minimalist approach! 😂

Difficult to overstate the practical benefits of having a fridge right next to where you store minis for when you’re rearranging which Really Useful Box they’re in. Guaranteed clear surface that you can put them on!

Surprisingly quick to paint up, but very satisfying. Enjoying the high contrast between the armour and leather compared to the blue/white ice bases

On the whole, quite pleased with how Thaumaturge 2.0 has turned out. Some learning points, but as a first attempt at OSL I’ll call that a win I think!

The contrast between the black and orange on these Lumineth was a right pain to do neatly at times, but very pleased with how they’ve turned out- think the orange trim on black in particular will really pop on the tabletop!

Very close game against Craig’s new Soulblight on The Better Part of Valour gave a solid first outing of 4th Edition for my OBR. Final score 42-42, but managed to clinch the minor victory on battle tactics scored!
