If for nothing else than the amazing character designs, go grab AnimEigo's superb SASUKE: The Complete Television Series blu set. Shirato Sanpei's kiddie take on Sarutobi turns into a surreal ninja bloodbath! w/ sub'd Japanese AND English dub. Highly recommended!

Recalling these Yugoslavian ninja comics from the 1980s I featured on VN a while ago. The 80s boom was robust there, I have plenty of Yugo-market lobby cards from Kosugi movies, and there were homegrown comic series that looked great.

Mine is slowly but surely coming along. Pulled an old 6-wheel ATV from the collection - it's off scale but close enough for shelf display. The statue is an Amazon cheapie painted gold. Have AT stickers and other accessories coming in this week...

Its a another football Sunday, so here's a look at Eiichi Kudo's baffling 1980 art-housy KAGE NO GUNDAN, complete with a literal ninja football game in the woods.

I have this box of 1980s quarter-capsule machine trinkets I've kept ever since - knockoff Friday the 13th stickers, rubber mummies in coffins, spider rings, skull charms with jeweled eyes - total crap... but amassed like this it totally triggers the Halloween spirit.

That's beautiful... Currently I've been linking self-worth to how many variant Jinx figures I can amass as part of my desk clutter. Working great so far.
