"The report also does not address gun violence, which is the leading cause of death for children and teens."
A new report led by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. blames a crisis of chronic disease in children on ultraprocessed foods, chemical exposures, lack of physical activity, stress and excessive use of prescription drugs. In some cases, the report misrepresents existing scientific consensus.

I 1st visited the EOS Center 10 years ago when I was the new dean of SF State's College of Science & Engineering. It is disheartening that an asset closely aligned with the region’s purported values is at risk of closure. I encourage anyone who can to support a better outcome. eoscenter.sfsu.edu
