Democratically uplifting stories are unfolding everyday that need to be emphasized, most brought by new faces & the people at-large. Does no good to trot-out same characters from yesteryear & ask, why is there no direction? why are poll numbers low? it needlessly perpetuates (creates) negativity.

After practicing law for 42 years & coaching-up law students in oral argument for 20+, would say that @neal_katyal is the best I've seen, esp. his ability to respond to random hypotheticals & downshift at once from complex legal reasoning to plain & understandable explanations 🦉

It's not enough to randomly call out disturbing events, sure we need that too. But primarily, there must be a calendared gameplan for doing what the branches & media are not. A shadow panel of new leaders that goes live daily (not the old re-treads), taking sworn testimony from victims & families.

Between being upset, and resisting, sometimes #breathing exercises can be relaxing. Like the one where you inhale a lot, slowly, then another little bit, hold your breath for a few, and then exhale slowly. Unless they outlaw breathing, then we're back to just breathing however, best we can #breathe

When a party and surrounding media dwell on something that didn't go well, restating that the status is bleak, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more useful credo is, we're taking great steps, momentum is strong, and it shall be. Ol' fashioned enthusiasm is highly contagious.

Politicians always needed to: have efficient policies, fundraise & campaign long hrs., 'getting primaried' was part of the job, welcomed, because, if a primary couldn't be won, the candidate didn't deserve the office. Pols now feel entitled & run scared from the job description #primaried #campaign

Reality about #leaks, always: leaked info is true, someone wanted it kept secret, for improper purpose, #leaker is never confirmed, #leak was soon to be obvious anyway, best way to keep embarrassment from being #leaked don't do the #leaky thing, and nothing is more boring than threatening #leakers 🩵

Looks like we're officially out of the funk, it took some weeks, though we're now moving onward with essential progress. Will be a bunch to bounce back from, but thankfully, we're very good bouncers.

#bluesky yes, there's a blue sky, just beyond the bismark, sure, parts of the palm can be thorny, its fronds may wither, but it's been growing strong as long as we've been in practice, could hit it with a truck at high speed, and it's not going anywhere, of course it needs water, like #democracy 💙

In prior administrations, when an exec with pvt. interests was to serve govt. in a post impacting policy, the exec divested to serve the public & preclude conflict. Even #45 said he'd step away from his businesses. So, if the tesla man avoids the cars, rockets & media, the violations are contained.
