They were all paid? What happened? Did Musk jump to the anti-Trump side?

Democrats need to purge their senior leaders. They need fresh ideas.

Vance is now using his 3 year old as a shield? Shame on him.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, 3 year olds are bring slaughtered by Russian missiles and drones because Vance is withholding weapons and intel that the Ukrainians could use to protect their children.

So far, the military has not been asked to follow any unlawful orders. Things may change if they are directed to shoot peaceful protestors, invade Panama, ot occupy Gaza.

Get the detainees out of sight and out of mind. This won't go well.

That's What the White House says. Did we hear from the Columbian government?

Trump released the 5K Taliban, but not sure there's a link to the airport bombing? ISIS-K committed the bombing. I suppose some of those 5K could have gone over to ISIS?

How would Trump keep the withdrawal plans from Biden because we lost Marines when the loss of the Marines occurred 8 months after Trump left office?

It's not my opinion. It's in the document. Here's the actual agreement from the State Department website. Agreed to on 29 Feb 2020. Pay close attention to part 2. What's 14 months from 29 Feb 20?

Whenever the U.S. tried to rebuild a nation we rearm that country. All the equipment remaining in Afghanistan belonged to the Afghan government. It was not on our books. If Trump planned to bring all that equipment back to the U.S., we would need to start moving it before he left office.

I served 25 years in the Army; the last 16 as an Ordnance (logistics officer). I serve in two separate tour working in foreign military sales roles. The equipment left in Afghanistan was part of our foreign military sales program.

Here's a story from the BBC that outlines the agreement that was signed on 29 Feb 2020 that gave us 14 months to withdraw. 14 months after signing was the end of April 2021. We were supposed to reduce our forces to 8600, but Trump reduced the force to 2500. www.bbc.com/news/world-a...

Based on Trump's agreement we were supposed to be out in May 2021 but with no plan we couldn't meet that date. The fiasco of the final withdrawl lands at both Trump's and Biden's feet. Trump's for making a deal with no plan to achieve; Biden's for rushing to leave.
January 23, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Trump negotiated the withdrawal which included the withdrawal date and the release of 5000 Taliban fighters. Then Trump drew down the force to 2500 service members just before he left office. Trump too no action to plan for the final evacuation of troops and civilians.
January 23, 2025 at 7:01 PM
BTW, why didn't Trump coordinate the evacuation of Afghan allies when he negotiated our withdrawal from Afghanistan? What was his State Department doing on extreme and the Taliban agreed to a withdrawal date?
January 23, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Try running background and security checks on refugees in a hostile foreign nation and see how fast you can donut. The level of screening the U.S. is doing blows big holes in the "open borders" claim.
January 23, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Why weren't they let in during Trump's last term when he negotiated the U.S. withdrawal? Anyway, their applications were being processed during the Biden administration and that takes time. (So much for the "open borders" narrative). But, I didn't think Trump would block cleared people.

Wouldn't be the first time Trump freed terrorists.
