He didn’t invent Batman. Batman fights crime but also gives people a second chance. He doesn’t kill criminals who “deserve it” because he does not judge people’s fate, he works with the police but he doesn’t do their bidding without limits.

I like the way he depicts the people of metropolis, how people are naturally good but also naive and malleable, so as soon as lex gives them a scapegoat, they embrace an easy bad guy. So when lex is revealed to be a fraud, the people become good again.

That’s how geoff Johns comics feel to me sometimes. The magic of justice league and flashpoint are best read on a first read. I do really like secret origin tbh
