The commentator on the Fulham Wolves game described Harry Wilson as having “a wand of a left foot”. Can a right foot be a wand? If not, why not? Is “cultured” also only for left feet? What adjectives could be used to describe right feet and would they convey the idea of skill or be more functional?

When can we stop referring to Community AND Charity Shield when explaining the season’s traditional curtain raiser? Surely everyone knows what the Community Shield was originally.

Really enjoyed the discussion on this episode. I never heard anyone mention that the title must surely have been a play on the 1955 film ‘The Ship That Died of Shame’. That’s a film worth watching.
