Photo collage showing the two merch items that I made for a portion of my midterms. This portion of the assignment was to mash up two different art styles or IPs. I combined F/ACE from Tamon's B-Side with the Kpop/Cpop group WayV, specifically the design elements from their 2024 comeback "Frequency." I made a Tamon photocard based on Xiaojun's hoodie photocard, with a matching acrylic photocard holder that says "F/ace" in the Frequency font. The text on the back reads "Eyes On You" in the Frequency font, then Tamon's signature, and a handwritten message: キミの笑顔は全部俺のだもん♡ ("Your smiles are all mine", which is one of his lyrics from Eyes on You). At the bottom reads F/ACE THE 1ST SINGLE 'EYES ON YOU.' I made a heart shaped uchiwa for Ouri based on Hendery's ON THE Way uchiwa with the high contrast lighting from the Frequency photoshoots. The front says 桜利くん (Ouri-kun) and the back says Eyes On You. There are some parts that I would like to fix, especially with the typography, but later.

Work-in-progress collage of a rather ambitious Tamon's B-Side fanart. This time, I'm doing it digitally (which I'm still trying to figure out, though technically I'm still trying to figure out traditional media, too). Plus, it's an ensemble piece with all 5 F/ACE members in their outfits from the Eyes on You CD cover illustration. I'm not showing the whole piece, rather just screenshots of the current progress on all the characters' faces put into a collage with handwritten text reading "wip" in lower case and large white calligraphy right smack in the middle. I probably won't get time to work on this much until after my classes are done.
