Got some AMAZING new yarn from a local yarn store near where I’m staying in FL called @knitcessitiesorlando ! Started a test knit for a Luna moth inspired shawl coming from @knittingniqabi, with @swancityyarns #TrustyDK in “cookie crumbs” and @sandnesgarn #TynnSilkMohair. I’m a happy nomadic knitter

Retaped my lyra and hung it up today for the first time in actual years. Getting into it was humbling but also made me really sure I want to put the work into finding the ability I once had. I feel ashamed that I let so much slip away, but I think I can be strong enough to earn it back.
