Also I realised I was wrong when I said I didn’t know anyone with a cargo bike that can fit. I know a couple of people with longtails that will fit, but as I use my bike for both work and family that just isn’t an option for me

I do check this but unfortunately I’ve got there to find it out of service when the website has said otherwise so I just can’t trust it!

This exactly. There used to be a twitter account updating us on the status and then also I saw an app at one stage but neither work now sadly

264.5cm and that’s by no means the longest you can get. Attached TFL bike bus details for reference. No problems fitting in the Greenwich tunnel lift, but it’s just so unreliable and out of the way that I often elect for a longer journey via the Woolwich ferry

Sadly too long. They allow cargo bikes but I don’t know anyone who has a cargo bike that’s short enough!

Or even further, the Woolwich ferry. Public transport or physically lifting the bike is just not an option sadly

I work in construction and replaced my van with a cargo bike 2 years ago. Crossing the river is incredibly inconvenient. Either I gamble that the Greenwich tunnel is fully operational, which it usually isn’t, in which case I have to loop back on myself and head towards Tower Bridge

Did not know this. Was there Christmas 2023 for the carols getting passively stoned. Decent playground for the little ones too

Fondly referred to as LNDYP by the writer, I presume. I first heard about it earlier this year as they apparently do a dry run at some point. Assumed it had something to do with beefeaters and horses?
