I haven't been the best about writing about my year of neurospicy affirmation, but it's clearly been working. I've been living that writer life - elbow deep in edits and self-publishing webinars. After a lifetime of talking about writing, I cannot wait to bring a book to life. Less than 3 months!!

Snapped a few photos on my 1km walk from the dealership to get a bite of brunch while my car gets her checkup. It’s a moody weather kind of day. Perfect for working on some moody characters while I wait!

The kids at kiddo’s school are wearing bright colors today for autism awareness. She asked what it means to be autistic. We talked about challenges, but also the joy of being different, creative, sensitive, empathetic. She said, “I really hope I’m autistic. I want to be just like you!” 💕💕

Kiddo was shrieking and stomping in the living room, not answering to me calling her name. I ran in, heart racing, crisis mode ready, only to find out she had discovered the show “is it cake?” World rocked.

Kiddo is curled up beside me with her iPad and a blanket over her head, muttering, “ohhhh this is going to be so great!”

Meanwhile, events keep popping up on the family calendar - “Ice cream day,” “family cuddle day,” “Christmas crafts,” “bake cookies”

What a December this is going to be 💕
