If you want to opt-out of YouTube's new AI upscaling features, here's how to disable them. They are on by default.
Turn visual and audio quality enhancement settings on or off; 1. Sign in to YouTube Studio on your computer. 2. Click Settings, then Channel, then Advanced settings. 3. Check or uncheck the "Let YouTube enhance visual quality" box. 4. Check or uncheck the "Let YouTube enhance audio quality" box. 5. Click Save.

I don't know how it's even allowed, but I really wish Tangia would get the fuck off of Twitch. I am SO TIRED of this GenAI bullshit showing up EVERYWHERE. It's so exhausting.

If you use GenAI in any capacity, you are actively ruining the planet and hurting the lives around these data centers.
