MAGA Karen joins a local government board to do whatever. You show up and disagree. As loudly as you legally can. Go out and volunteer with local aid. Run for/volunteer in your local government. Now Karen has to compete against sane voices. Country still sucks, but your town might suck less.

I mean "starting somewhere" on a personal level. Yeah, shit's fucked. Anyone can see it. However, we can still as individuals do what we can at home to try to protect our immediate areas.
This means being loud at town halls. Showing up to board of Education meetings. Don't take it lying down.

You gotta start somewhere and that generally is an accessible place. You'd be surprised how much can get accomplished by a small handful of people. It helps protect/empower your neighbors who can then help resistance grow.
It takes time and real effort but it's better than curling up to die.

We could get involved on a local community level, for starters. Make sure that the poison doesn't seep into our county governments.
