Way more common than you think. Many people are clueless about what goes on inside their skin and lack even basic scientific knowledge. I used to evaluate patients for capacity to consent to surgery which included knowledge of disease and proposed treatment. Scary how limited some people are.

Agree. But not opinion. Fact. Nuzzi is textbook BPD. Check out Google scholar on the subject. BPD is one of the most frustrating diagnoses in all of mental health, remarkably self defeating and virtually impossible to treat. Ppl w/BPD die early--suicide, drug OD, violence, AIDS. Not pretty.

Not that hard to parse. At first glance Olivia is a beautiful, talented high profile young woman. That distracts us from the fact that she also exhibits all of the signs and symptoms of severe garden variety borderline personality disorder.

Maybe not a hill to die on. Both men and women with BPD "..are more likely to exhibit greater sexual preoccupation, have earlier sexual exposure, engage in casual sexual relationships, [have] ...a greater number of high-risk sexual behaviors; a higher likelihood of having been coerced to have sex"

I know this is weak consolation, but while beautiful young women with raging borderline personality disorder are incredibly exciting and always attract attention for a while, they burn out quickly and completely into substance-ravaged husks.
