Yeah, you never see a Chinese or Asian person say praises about Shen Yun in their video ads. They only show white people saying compliments about it.

I was not working on a draft. I was google searching and filling up hundreds of rows of data in my spreadsheet.

I tried using Gemini AI to help with doing multiple google searches for spreadsheets. Lack of willing manpower on my end & I got other priorities like coding. I had to make it tell me its sources because it got some info wrong. Even with citations, I still feel like I am doing more work.

One idea that got rejected and led to a rewrite was the idea of having the audience be a character's brain cells. It just didn't sound right.

Deku is one of my fav characters, and finally being able to allow him in with his adult appearance is a relief.

On the bright side, I can use the coding for a new NSFW minigame in Otaku Oasis that involves number of posts for a character on a certain website.

I was able to get it working, but with a compromise. It will not search with a range limit and multiple anime with same year cannot be in it. Too many bugs with these features that require way more time than needed, and I have other priorities.

This is still a work in progress, because I anticipate way more bugs to happen once I make minigame store its values in localstorage. Like what happens if coin flips heads and there are no more older anime left to pick.

It would incrementally search for another anime that is at least 1 year older or younger, until it finds one that hasn't been used yet. That makes 2 animes being shown not have a huge year gap (until there are less to pick) & less work for me in writing questions for this minigame.

To give credit where it’s due, the AI isn't technically wrong about Taiwan. There’s a reason why Taiwanese passport says Republic of China (official name of Taiwan) in English and Mandarin on cover and their national airline is called China Airlines.

What baffles me is that there already exists genAI tools & models outside of ChatGPT that can make Disney AI slop which ppl can view outside of Disney+. To me, I see 1 billion dollars investment from Disney as being pointless and just a tiny contribution to try save OpenAI from financial ruin.

I disagree with China overreacting to Takeuchi's comments on Taiwan, but I also disagree with her comments. Who is she to tell off China like she's better than them when it was her Imperial ancestors that saved CCP from KMT (now in Taiwan after losing mainland China) by invading China in 1930s.

They assumed that buying the islands from the private owner of the islands would not piss China off, and that really blew up in their face. It wasn't until 3-4 years later when both sides calmed down & things went back to normal. Both countries are rational enough to know that war is a bad idea.
